Yoga, Pilates and Breathwork

Take the stairs to the mezzanine level and you’ll find our yoga and meditation space. This zone provides a small, intimate setting for Yoga, Pilates and Breathwork classes. Whether you’re new to the discipline or a seasoned yogi, this space fosters a calm and relaxed vibe and absolutely everyone is welcome here. We have mats and all the props you’ll need for your practice.

Our Classes

Yoga

You'll need water and a sweat towel for our Yoga classes. Mats and bolsters are provided where required, but feel free to bring your own

Hatha

Hatha is the mother of all yoga styles. This class wraps meditation, breathwork, yoga poses and mindfulness in a beautiful blanket. Slow, strong and steady with time to get into poses to resonate with you, your body and your mind. 

Restorative 

Get your blankets out, your eye masks on and your yoga oils ready. This class will take you deep into relaxation with supported postures using bolsters and props. You’ll find calm and tranquility within this class, helping to de stress, unwind and open up those tense areas. 

Vinyasa 

A fast paced flow linking postures together in an elegant and challenging way. This will raise your heart rate, increase your strength and your flexibility. 

Pre-natal 

No matter where you are in your pregnancy, taking time to move mindfully is a gift to both you and your baby. With the guidance of our expert pre-natal yoga teachers, you'll learn how to adapt your asana practice for each trimester.

Build strength, relieve stress, and prepare for delivery while keeping your practice customised and safe every step of the way.

Post-natal 

Our post-natal yoga classes have been designed with new mums in mind & are focused on empowering, strengthening & nurturing you. Your baby gets to benefit too by creating positivity around you and your postnatal body.  This class can aid bonding and create some beautiful habits for life.

Pilates

Pilates is a holistic approach to fitness and wellness that can have significant benefits for both the body and the mind.

Pilates focuses on strengthening the body and improving posture, balance, and flexibility, ultimately enhancing overall fitness and wellbeing. It involves a series of controlled movements that target specific muscle groups, particularly the core muscles of the abdomen, pelvis, and lower back.

Those who practice Pilates regularly report improvements to strength, flexibility and range of motion as well as having injuries.

Pilates is also known to be an effective stress-reliever promoting relaxation, mindfulness and deep breathing. At Pura Vida our Instructors are on hand to deliver classes for people of all ages and fitness levels and will always adapt to suit an individuals needs and goals.
