Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy

Looking to reduce muscle soreness after a heavy workout or run? Want to reduce the appearance of cellulite or want to relax and enjoy a lower body circulation boost? Pressotherapy is a game-changer for your health and recovery.

Pressotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves the application of air pressure alternating between compression and decompression from feet to thigh. It provides an alternative to manual lymphatic drainage, done with physical massage.

Pressotherapy can help to stimulate the lymphatic system, which helps to clear toxins from the body and stimulate blood circulation. Pressure is applied directly via our specialised compression boots.

The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory system and necessary for our immune response. It is made up of a network of lymphatic vessels which carries lymph fluid. Lymph fluid is made up of white blood cells, fats and bacteria that build up throughout the body from digestion, for example. The lymphatic system relies on our muscles and movements to drain this fluid.

Our treatment

Our Pulsio (TM) boots offer 66% more pressure than the average compression boot. With 200 mmHg of pressure it means blood flow will be maximised as it inflates and deflates in each of the 4 chambers moving up your leg. It also helps to prevent a buildup of lactic aci.d meaning your recovery time is quicker.

The treatment couldn’t be easier - Pop on the boots and using the monitor you’ll be able to select your preferred mode and pressure. Our staff will be on hand for any questions and to ensure your experience is customised and comfortable. Hot and cold drinks are available to order from our café and can be brought to you whilst you enjoy this treatment.
