Infrared Saunas
It’s an unfortunate fact that our environment is more toxic now than ever before thanks to heavy metals, pollution, toxins, plastics and ultra-processed foods. Unlike our grandparents we are exposed to these on a daily basis which can take its toll on our health. The good news is that we can off-set some of this toxin build up with regular use of saunas. Even better still, lots of these toxins prefer to exit the body through sweat.
While a traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air around you, our saunas use infrared to directly warm the body itself. The UV radiation is filtered out which makes them totally safe to use for the majority of people. The heat generated by the infrared panels can penetrate human tissue more effectively than warmed air and also bring about a host of deeper benefits.
Our Saunas
Our infrared saunas are full spectrum meaning they use three types of infrared radiation: far infrared, mid infrared, and near infrared. Each type of radiation offers its own unique benefits, making a full spectrum infrared sauna a versatile and effective way to improve overall health and well-being. Our saunas run between 60 –70 degrees c and whilst you’ll sweat intensely, many people find they prefer it to the stuffy sensation of a traditional sauna. What’s also interesting to note is that in a traditional sauna your sweat consists of around 95% water, while in Infrared only 80-85% is water with the remaining 15-20% being toxic load (heavy metals, chemicals and other toxins leaving the body)
The benefits are endless!

Improves blood circulation
Boosts immunity by supporting an increased production in white blood cells
Acts as pain relief by reducing inflammation in the body
Skin complexion - enhances collagen production and skin elasticity
When sebaceous glands are activated, accumulated cosmetics in pores can be eliminated through the skin (sweat and oil glands), resulting in clearer skin
Maintains and promotes healthy lung function
Strengthens cardiovascular system by causing heart rate and cardiac output to increase which mimics exercise

Helps to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety when the happy hormones dopamine and serotonin are released :)
Increased self-reflection and meditation - A session allows for a technology free period of time away from the chaos of modern life. We personally find that we often experience a burst of creativity after a mini-retreat in the sauna or we simply just enjoy the chance to have distraction-free interactions if we sit with a friend
